What we do
We procure, market and distribute a variety of medicines and healthcare products to the South African, and Southern African markets. We ensure that the medicines we bring into the market are safe, effective and of high quality.
Smart Pharmaceuticals entered the South African market in 2007 with two Vitamin and Mineral supplements, namely Calvit 500 and RDA 24. Over the years we have added more and more healthcare products to this basket to supplement health.
Smart was always committed to ensuring quality healthcare for all and submitted medicines for registration in South Africa. In 2019 we received our very first medicine registration, and since then Smart has been receiving more registrations annually. Smart put its first medicines to market in mid- 2023.
